الملخص

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a digital Modulation technology that has become one of
the most widely used in wireless communications such as (WiMAX and 4G Generation) because it has high data rate
transmission. The advantages of this technology are a high data rate, high spectral efficiency, and more immunity to
interference. However, these advantages are met with disadvantages most important of which is the high Peak to Average
Power Ratio (PAPR) of the received signal due to nonlinear components such as power amplifiers) which distorts the signal.
Several techniques have been proposed in this paper to reduce PAPR including clipping and filtering, Selective Level Mapping
(SLM), and Partial Transmit Sequences (PTS). All simulations are performed on MATLAB program to analyze PAPR
reduction and compare reduction techniques with each other.
